when china becomes a super power how well it effect the world?

China will be like the USA under Teddy Roosevelt. They will walk softly and carry a big stick. No one will want to cross them because they will simply use the big stick to maximum effect.

China will take over Taiwan. Only a matter of time since it IS their territory. The world will perhaps protest but not too loudly and no one will get in a fight with China over it. If anyone tries to stick sanctions on China, it will backfire as China is now too deeply embedded in the global economy.

China will probably use its Navy to stop all the pirates between it and Africa. Or at least ensure none of its own ships get bothered along that route.

China will probably have a large presence in the Arctic once all the ice has melted. It will not let Canada and Russia get a choke hold on what will be the major east-west trade route.

China will probably be the #1 leader in science and technology as it graduates more engineers every year than the rest of the world combined. Look for the next big advance in electronics to come out of China.

American schools may wake up and stop teaching dead end languages like French and go with Chinese.

America will become like England, looking back at its glory days and keeping a low enough profile no one picks on it.

It depends what you call a super power. China has had nuclear weapons for years. They now have high Industrial growth and a lot of natural resources like coal. The big difference is the $1,000,000,000,000 they have in currency reserves. With the US dollar going down in value and the Federal Reserve printing dollars like confetti - the Chinese may get rid of US dollars in favour of Euros and a basket of currencies. They may as the Japanese once did - buy up American companies and property. They may dump dollars on the market. Japan is almost bound to increase interest rates - if both happen or either - the USA will go in to recession with high inflation or even depression. Perhaps the trillion dollars they spend on weapons and "defense" will be cut and they will spent it on health insurance for children and solving the disgrace of poverty in the United States. I doubt it though. The politicians watched people in New Orleans suffer and die - they will watch everyone living in poverty do the same - only the Bill Gates and friends count in greedy corrupt America.

becomes? China in my opinion is already the most powerful nation in the world. They not only have the largest military force but they also have made the US their own little if you know what i mean by lending them billions and billions of dollars.

If china ever decides to tweak their currency a bit the US is totally screwed.

well, ponder this.

China owns 11% of the US debt last I read...and when you lend money on that level to the US, I would consider China a super power. Sheer population alone makes them one. Growth of economy and military is another factor.

Frankly, they are the "non-sleeping giant" that may one day become yours and my employer if we arent careful.
