Don't know yet. The good thing is, he won't have to drive the KYB 5 car. The greatest thing right now is that Tony Eury, Jr. is going to Hendrick with him!!! EEEEE-HAAAWWW!!! Wonder what Theresa thinks about that? Rumor mill has it that Almirola & Mark Martin will take turns. No matter who drives it, it just won't be the same. Probably will draw some Boo's first time out.

They haven't said for sure what number Jr will drive next year... But speculation is that it will be the 81. There should be an announcement in the coming weeks.

.....there is no specific timetable on announcing Earnhardt's new number. What number his car will carry has not yet been determined, but Earnhardt has told ESPN on multiple occasions his preference is 81. He has run 81 at times in the NASCAR Busch Series

A distributer says the new number will be announced to have new jr. merchandise in stores for the holidays. Not to far down the road.

WHY is it that so many are concerned about what number jr will have??!! if he gets a number that you don't like are you going to pull for someone else?! what does it matter anyway really that has been the center of attention(distraction) on this sight for WEEKS! surely, there has to be something else for you to ask

Did you say retarded, JR is retarded and I could care less what his number is, but just to let you know it will most likely be the 81 and he will be sponsored by PEPSI-CO (Pepsi, Mt. Dew, Gatorade, Lays potato chips) The 8 car will be driven in a split schedule by Mark Martin and Aric Almirloa. One thing JR did get is Tony Jr to go with him however that combination has not been working so I doubt Rick Hendrick will put up with it for long. I doubt he will do well there as he will be out classed by the two drivers that are already very successful.

Nobody knows what number JR will have. teresa won't retire that number. She will give it to some rookie just to tick JR off some more. She should have sold the number because everything she has is from Dale SR it doesn't belong to her. I f she had any sense at all, she would get out of NASCAR now she sucks at management.
