Lost without Love at University?

Here is the situation. I am 24 years old from VA and now go to a small university in Germany. I have been single for over 2 years and started at this new university last week. I thought I could find a girlfriend if I relocated somewhere else, and friends as well. But...I am still unable to find and any of the above. I make friends with girls and they either reject me or tell me about their lovely boyfriend. Even the German girls seem to be stuck up too. I am frustrated too because two of my friends, one guy and one girl who I showed interest in, are liking each other. SO I pretty much dropped them because of the girl. everyone else is finding someone how come I am not? I am socializing, going out, and mingling and I have been told I look handsome but still I feel like crying I am so alone without anyone. I have also tried the whole let love find you thing but being 24 and waiting over 2 years it's safe to assume love was not using it's TomTom on the way to my heart. Please Help!

Really your going to have to wrap your head around the fact that finding the true love is bs. It is, look at our divorce rate, look at how many people STAY in BAD relationships just because there afraid to be right were your at. Look at how many people just like you beat themselves up daily because they can't be in one of those relationships atleast trying. GET OVER IT!! ITs not lifes purpose, it isn't the meaning of live, it is peramount to happiness, it for christ sake if you don't like yourself now, what makes you think you'll like yourself later when your in a relationship just to be in one? ITs so much more complex then that, damn this society for putting an easiy fix thats IMPOSSIBLE to have. Not all of us are going to get that 1-in-a-million chance to JUST find love, or to just have to fall into our laps for no reason..... Sorry for grippin its just you NEED to see that all you really need in your life is a PURPOSE, doesn't matter what, just not a person, just not a idealistic love affair. ITs about what do you hope to accomplish with your life? See if your a man with a purpose, with something people can look up and respect, you'll get her, you'll find her, are better yet, you concentrate on that purpose and she'll find you. Trust me, also let go of the whole ideal behind ALL or NOTHING relatoinships, sometimes like the old song goes, we might not get what we want, but we'll get what we need. ITs just that something you doing IS pushing people away, and usually being lost, and uncertain about our direction, and are purpose in life, can do that. Also its THAT, thats going to help you thru the more... depression parts of your life. Besides that IT'S what a females going to love about you other then how much of a mac daddy and how much of a pimp you are.... just another way to look at it, work on you, and they'll find you....
