Guys, do you ever lie to your gf just to keep her happy?

My x-bf told me that for future relationships he would lie and say that he only has eyes for his next gf, and that she's really pretty and stuff like that, that he'll keep all his real thoughts to himself.
That now he knows why no one is honest.
Is every guy like this?

Yea to the most part yes. You have to realize its our culture that demands it, not us as individuals, but when in Rome you do as the Romans. Really don't expect that from every man, but a good percentage of Males know that the only reason there in a relationships is because
1. Its required by our culture (most males would rather be out fing and screwing new girls everyday, but society frawns for the most part on that)
2. They know nothing more then sex, as the only WAY to relate to a female, so all other things are small and unimportant so f it, if you have to lie to get sex

So realize that because we don't understand how TRUE relationships are formed and kept going, that we know no other way then the lie, sorry but its the truth of things....
