wow. for all of the people who say that abortion isn't killing kids let me ask you this. if you were pregnant and someone came and stuck a needle in you to poison your baby and it died how would you feel. you would feel horrible. and whoever did that would be severely punished. on the other hand, if you told someone to poison your baby neither you or the person who killed the baby would be punished in any way. just because the baby isn't born doesn't mean that it isn't living. it's growing, just like we all do. but because it isn't fully developed some whackjob decided that it is okay to kill it. man society is messed up.
as for the corporal punishment, I think that more kids should be spanked, not abused or beaten. just a good spanking.

the age old question, to answer your question , there is no right answer. most of the answers here are based on personal belief. I have seen some parents who do not believe in physical punishment, they seem to have situations were the kids are hellions who walk all over them, cuss them out in public, and basically are little terrors. I have seen the same were the parents basically say something to the children and they stop misbehaving right away ( no physical touching) I have seen situations were a parent is hitting a child and it looks like the parent is going overboard, the kids seem to be the victim. these are just examples of what I have witnessed. Parents need to make there own decisions, people have there own views on what is right and wrong, as much as I do not believe in hitting my own child I can not judge some one else's parenting skills with out knowing the entire situation nor if I believe what they are doing is wrong do I have much of a say in there lives. I agree. And for those who say you have to be alive before you can be killed. From the moment that baby is conceived it is alive. If it wasn't it wouldn't grow into a baby. Abortion is killing any way you look at it. If you don't believe me look up "abortion" on google. So if you're one of the ones that says "it has to be alive for you to kill it" you're the dumbass, not the one that asked this question. Maybe when you have/lose a baby you will understand.

I applaud you for asking this question. Most people are going to argue that corporal punishment is wrong because you are physically hurting a child and abortion doesn't hurt anyone because the "child" isn't alive yet. I call bulls*** though. An abortion, in most cases, is performed after the fetus has a heartbeat, therefor it is a living child!! You can disagree if you want, but its the truth. Abortion is a convenience for a woman who couldn't keep her legs closed, that's it! (Of course there are exceptions. I do believe in medical abortions for MEDICAL REASONS ONLY)
People who are Pro-Choice, bring on the thumbs down.

Because they are two totally different issues.
Spanking is considered barbaric because it teaches a child that it's OK to hit
abortion now that's a personal issue/choice all together and should remain a personal choice.
I did however like the other posters answer about saving the children who are being abused rather than picketing.

good question, i think abortion is only right in the cirmumstance that a good family cant be found for the baby. i know different people have different opinions but thats mine and i bet i'll get a load of thumbs down but im just voicing my opinion

Good question!!!! I am pro life, and pro spanking. So yes in general my opinion is that abortion is wrong.

I think they both are to be honest, no reason to kill an innocent baby, and there is no reason to beat your kid either, any one who does either are horrible people. In my opinion.

Simple... abortions dont kill kids
its very simple.
The foetuses dont think.
At first they are a bunch of cells hence abortion pills are much better and most abortions are early .
Either pills or vacume aspiration early on before the foetus has a developed brain and capable of thinks or feeling or aware of anything.
Bit like when you toss off you dont cry its killing potential life. Likewise when a girl has a period
But kids are full sentient fully finished life forms . They see , fear, feel think, rember, they have personalityies, are aware
