I dont want a smart *** remark like "duh its the advertisement writer". I need to know the professional term. If you know a real answer, that would be nice and i thank you.

In our agency we have copywriters who create the slogans, copy and headlines for ads. We also have graphic designers who design the ads using computer programs and art directors who oversee the images and supervise the layouts.

The smaller the agency you go to the more likely some of these functions will be combined to one person's responsibility. In the larger agencies, sometimes tasks like the above could be divided amongst several job titles or people

That's actually 2 separate positions. The "copywriter" writes the copy and the "art director" designs the ad.
