There are other people thinking very differently about me. When I told them I've got a computer, they think I'm the only one. Can you tell me how absurd are they?

Two days ago I saw an 18 month old kid using a computer. She had to stand on her tiptoes next to the desk to put in a CD but she could run programs not involving spelling words.
Does that make them absurd enough?
