Sounds like the driver is an ****** and the cyclist was probably a woman. The only reason a bicyclist normally gives anyone the finger is if they almost got run over by somebody. I've done it many times and have yet to have that "discussion". Be sure that many cyclists will be happy to have that discussion in no uncertain terms.

The cyclist is a moron, he is Lucky the driver only stopped to talk, I might have had to swerve to miss a dog and hit him by mistake.

i am going to assume you are a cop, because no one else would try to or have the authority to "stop and question" a cyclist about their use of a middle finger.

why would a cop want to stop and question (harass) a cyclist for flipping said cop the bird?

i think the cyclist is entitled to his opinion without having to be "detained" about it.

i would consider a person using their office (while carrying a gun) to intimidate others that are lawfully exercising their freedom of speech to be the coward.

Coward ? No but if you were not there how do you know the whole issue? only one side information?
If you were there, what caused the person to flip you off?
