Its free, pay for nothing its a rip off.

I am running Vista Home Premium, I have kept my security arrangements the same as when I was running XP. They are as follows :

AVG 7.5 Free

Lavasoft adaware SE Personal

http://www.softpedia.com/get/internet/po...

Spybot Search & Destroy

Spywareblaster

I have been using this security configuration for years, without a single problem.

Its all free.

EDIT:

When I was running XP I also installed Zonealarm Firewall, now I have Vista it is not necessary as Vista firewall is much improved, Zonealarm link is :

Once again its free.

Depends on the version. The free version is free.

Professional Antivirus is $38.95

Internet security (which includes antivirus, spyware, etc) is $69.95

AVG is free. But try Kaspersky anti-virus. It is free as well and is actualy very good.

Try F-Secure, it's way better than AVG, Norton, McCaffe etc. and its updated frequently and without paying a single dime for the update. F-Secure comes with Firewall, Spyware prevention, etc.
