Apparently there's a stargate in irag 'the garden of eden' and that President Bush was to attack irag for control of the stargate.now I think that is pretty far fetched, yet people like Perry Stone is saying that the reasons for the Sunni/Shia conflict in Iraq is due to one group hoping to bring about the MAJDi (sp?) the white horse of the Apocalypse.

So now some people say the entire War in Iraq is apocalyptic with the Stargate in the center of dispute? I have not heard of this before what says you?

Even though you are clearly an idiot, the subject on which you touch actually holds a grain of truth. Except for the Stargate part. That is a work of fiction. You're an idiot. As for the war in Iraq being apocalyptic, that is truth. And as for the Garden of Eden, it is not in Iraq, although it is somewhat close.

The Garden of Eden is paradise on Earth. God's communal point with man. But man fell from grace, and we are no longer allowed in to Paradise on Earth. But that does not mean that the Garden no longer exists. The Scripture speaks of the Garden being guarded by an Angel with a flaming sword, so as to make sure we cannot gain access. But the Scripture also speaks of re-entry to the terrestrial paradise as a reward. Referrence to this can be found in 1st Corinthians. So clearly it still exists.

As to its location: A few weeks ago I was reading an article in Smithsonian Magazine about glaciologist Lonnie Thompson. The article itself was nothing more than a pro global-warming piece, but an off-handed sentence caught my eye. Page 69 of the July 2007 Smithsonian magazine: "Far below I can see Lake Manasarovar, described by Swedish explorer Sven Hedin a century ago as 'an enormous turquoise embedded between two of the finest and most famous giants of the world,' Kailash and Naimona'nyi. This stunning tableau, about 10 miles from Nepal and 20 miles from India, is among the world's most sacred landscapes. According to Hindu and Buddhist belief, this is the center of the universe, and four great rivers are said to flow through subterranean passages."

This is where you will find your "Gateway to the Heavens."

Now THAT's a conspiracy theory I can stand behind and whole-heartedly endorse. That's right, a Stargate in Iraq. I mean, it IS the cradle of civilization, right? A Stargate makes perfect sense. No wonder Bush is spending billions of dollars and thousands of lives. Who wouldn't?

I don't know about "stargate" but Iraq is the literal location of Babylon and also where the Euphrates river flows, in accordance with Revelation 9:14-15: "It said to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates." And the four angels who had been kept ready for this very hour and day and month and year were released to kill a third of mankind."

Given the administration's track record, the stargate tip likely came from some Iraqi expatriate crack ho, and will turn out to be a tractor tire half-buried in the sand.

I haven't heard of it. At one time it was thought that Vietnam was apocalyptic. The first white horse of the Apocalypse is about a government system that tramples the populace underfoot - rides roughshod and tramples the residue beneath its feet. While it looks kind and benevolent and says Peace, it actually gets its way by waging war. I call this world government Democracy practised by a Christian nation.

They probably got Stargate from Jacob's Ladder in the Bible where the angels were ascending and descending from heaven to earth.

If it is in the Bible it is nothing to laugh at because everything in the Bible comes true.
