There are certain vitamins that are fat soluble. You need to make sure that you have enough fat in your diet for them to be absorbed other wise you can eat as much of them as you like and you will still be deficient,

Weightwatchers in Germany used to recommend that you consume the equivalent of a teaspoon of olive oil every day to meet this requirement.

It is more important to watch calorie intake then it is to watch fat. Eat about 1250 calories a day Sun-Thurs. Look for food that have a low amount of calories from fat..the calories that come from fat are the so-called BAD calories. Fri and Sat oindulge yourself..don't go to a buffet and eat all day, but don't be as strict on those two days. Guaranteed you will lose the weight fast if you do that. It worked AMAZINGLY for me I lost 75lbs without exercise that way. Of course once I lost the weight I was still unhappy because I was flabby and now i work out and strength train 3x a week, but it is MUCH easier to tone a thin body then it is a chunky one!

how low is your low fat diet?

diets too low in healthy fats are counter productive to fat loss. dietary fats are essential for the manufacturing of various hormones. in terms of weight loss the dietary fat intake has a direct effect on testosterone production. if the daily fat intake is restricted to below 20% of the total calories test production will decrease. this not only causes the resting metabolic rate to decrease impeding fat loss but over time it will also cause a loss of muscle mass. causing the body fat percentage to increase as muscle is lost.
