In the book of 1 Cor. 13:16,17 the apostle Paul writes to Christian believers the following, "16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. "

When we partake of the examples you have given we are literally destroying the temple of the Holy Spirit, our body. Since the Holy Bible is the inerrant of God, and there are no contradictions or mistakes recorded in the scriptures we must follow the precepts of God. To refuse is rebellion against God our Creator and Redeemer, according to Samuel the Prophet who said the following to King Saul, " For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king." 1 Samuel 15:23
If we continue practicing sinful acts we also will rejected by God and be separated eternally from Him.

Tobacco is native to the Western hemisphere, so the omniscient God says nothing about it in his book for all people and all times.
Alcohol seems to have been consumed by every major character frequently with no condemnation. Jesus even conjured a barrel of it up for a party, and incorporated it into the one ritual he prescribed.
Genesis 30:14-17 contains a story about an early sex-for-drugs trade (Mandrake root is a mild drug). God sanctions the deal by granting Leah a child, as she had hoped.

Christ himself never mentioned the subjects. At least according to the Gospels.

We are told in the Bible not to partake of anything that is harmful (injurious) to our body.
