NO! But there are a lot of 'salt pillers' in the dead sea area. It's the saltiest sea in the world.

Is it more likely that a human being, made of many different elements, spontaneously turned into a column of salt (defying all natural laws, including conservation of matter), or that someone built a column and someone else made up a story about it?
If you really think the former is more likely than the latter, then please explain why you believe you do not believe the various temples to Greek gods do not prove that the Greek gods existed.

Yup. Haven't really studied the claims enough to form an opinion though. Still I think it's interesting. :) And I absolutely believe the Biblical account.
