It's no coincidence. Many of the worst offenders--Stalin, Mao, Castro, Tito, and Pol Pot, were dictators of communist regimes, the political embodiment of atheism. Communism was designed to perfect humanity by ridding us of religion, the "opiate of the masses," and refashioning a new, selfless humanity that will work tirelessly "according to his ability" for the state rather than for the family, and who will gratefully accept the largesse offered by the state, "according to his needs." This refashioning required totalitarian control, which meant large scale murder or imprisonment of those who did not submit to the new order.

Hitler, Castro, Marcos and Mao all had some christian religious training. Probably Stalin and Tito were exposed to that as well.

Kennedy was a womanizer, teresa had serious doubts about god, john paul was a closet gay, reagan wasn't christian, roosevelt was not a practicing christian and dobson? who knows?

Look up the concept of "cherry picking," please.

Also, in a sort of related note, kindly refrain from doing any sort of medical research.

Also notable is that several of the people you label as atheists actually weren't, but that's beside the point. The point is that religion, like any ideology (e.g. Communism) tends to make people do bad things.

For instance, had Mother Teresa not been indoctrinated into her fanatical Christian beliefs, she might have rejected the doctrine that suffering was sacred, and maybe she would have treated her patients better. (They apparently needed doctors more than they needed saints. Who knew?)

John Paul II was progressive in many ways, but his religious ideology held him back when it came to trying to prevent millions of preventable deaths from STDs in Africa. The Catholic Church is largely to blame for people there not using condoms like they should.

I don't see why Dobson would be considered a good guy by any standards other than his own. (And you obviously mean to divide this list into "good guys" and "bad guys," since your list of atheists includes mostly dictators, many of them not actually atheists. Were you being honest, you'd list some of the great atheists who have been philosophers, scientists, artists, and philanthropists.)

Thought Hitler was catholic....

Seems also that you missed a few atheist and Xians as well - the point being that you can choose good and bad examples of both to make whatever point you want.

And I believe Fidel Castro is a catholic.

Anecdotal evidence is meaningless.

Why do you feel you have to resort to logical fallacies in order to justify your faith? Doesn't that tell you something?

even if your list was factual and complete, what would it prove exactly?

sometimes you can say something without saying anything, which you have done.
