For wrecking Ricky Rudd, Jeremy Mayfield and David Reutimann, and injuring Rudd's arm? What's up with Jeff, is he trying to be a dirty driver like Earnhardt sr was?
100 point penalty and $20,000 fine for rough driving maybe?

he got loose. Idont know who your driver is but if he got loose and wrecked a bunch of drivers and hurt someones wrist should they be fined for it. all the drivers know he risk before getting n the car and thats racing. Dale Sr. wasn't a dirty racer he was a true racer he did what had to be done. Not that some things he did were right like wrecking terry labonte at bristol in 1999 on the white flag lap coming out of turn two. but thats racing its not like he did it at the very beggining.

Not a Gordon fan ,but WHY would he want to intentionally wreck Ricky Rudd, Jeremy Mayfield and David Reutimann .? I mean the guy is already locked into the Chase and none of the 3 that he wrecked were a threat to win

Not at all. He did not do that intensionally and immediately took blame. Lighten up. I am a Dale Jr fan and watch racing all the time and have since Richard Petty was their ages. S&^&*&T happens, thats racing. That would be like saying Brian Vickers should have been penilized last year for wrecking JR and Jimmie and winning! Jeff didn't even win.

Wow! You must really be a Gordon hater! Jeff didn't intentionally wreck those drivers. If he did then you would be right, he should get penalties, but sorry that wasn't the case! Jeff had a really loose car, was trying hard to get to the front after he pitted, but the car had other ideas. Too Bad for Jeff, but no worries he's already in the chase, this race is over now he needs to move on to next weekend!

Gordon did not wreck anyone on purpose. Were you watching the race? He certainly did not mean to hurt Ricky Rudd. His car got loose. Happens all the time in Nascar, that is why they are always making adjustments.

What would he have gained by wrecking them?

He was fighting a loose race car and I don't think he intentionally wrecked anyone. With the reset after Richmond any points loss would mean nothing to him and there will be no fine. Earnhardt was notorious for intentionally bumping people out of the way to get to the front and NASCAR did nothing to him. It is usually conduct off the track and tampering with rules on race cars that gets drivers and crew chiefs fined, not something that happens on the track during the course of the race.

Penalized? Are you nuts.. I'm only going to answer this question by saying.. No.. You can't penalize a driver everytime he makes a mistake? This question is not only a waste of the Y/A board.. It's idiotic.

He had a loose car nearly the entire race, and he totally admitted it was his fault, he is not a dirty driver at all..This just happens in racing when your car gets to loose..
