number 1. cats are not dogs they know u are calling its name but it doesnt want to hear you. they are not weak like dogs :)
haha

number 2. give it some time it if its just a kitten its gonna take alot of time! Even dogs take alot of time to learn at least a year!

number 3. I heard that its best that cats respond to names ending with e or y sound best. I dont know if thats true tho because my cat Pumpkin comes to his name and obviously his name doesnt end in e or y.

Much luck! :)

Give the poor thing a little time. Use its name often. My two boys had to learn their individual names and not respond to each other's names. I use their names constantly even though they are now 3 1/2. My boys do come when called but not all cats do so be patient and serve a treat if he does.

Keep calling it that it will catch on, when you feed it call its name and shake the food until it comes.

if you call her often by its name it will eventually get used to it .
