Here are two arguments. Which one do you believe was perceived from the rest of the world:
1. US troops slaughtering innocent civilans in a tiny Vienam, rallied more people to communism, then if they would have left things well enough alone.
2. US tropps fighting with the biggest war machine of all time the massive firepower of the bad, bad communits, saved the world in Vietnam.

Your "question" which are badly written are more in the form of statements.Vietnam is not so "tiny" and there were many Vietnamese who had no wish to live under communist domination.

You barely disguised troll attempt to stir up anger with such liberal sentiments as "US troops slaughtering innocent civilians" reveals you true intent to be an anti-US Troll.

The second part of your "questions" makes no sense at all, but again it points to your true sentiments.

Judging by your poor attempts at the English language you are not a native English speaker (if you are you need to sit through English Lit` again).

The version of Communism practiced in Vietnam bore no comparison to the USSR variety as all Communist block nations were individual variety's following a common theme.

So in reality your "questions" are meaningless.

It made it weaker. As the previous poster said it caused friction between China and the USSR.

In fact, Soviet support of Vietnam caused China to nullify its 1959 treaty with the Soviet Union and mount a punitive invasion of Vietnam in 1979.

The US withdrawal from Vietnam in 1973 allowed Nixon to open diplomatic relations with China which further isolated the USSR from the rest of the world.

As for Vietnamese communists every time they fought major engagements against the US they lost militarily.

Politically the Vietnamese communists won the war. However, had their been a viable alternative to Communism in Vietnam they would have lost.

I personnaly don't see how USSR communism was affected by the war in Vietnam. Yea, Russia funded the North Vietnamese to some extent, but day-to-day life in Russia wasn't affected or changed by Vietnam.

U.S. involvement in Vietnam, aggravated a fracture between USSR and China.

So U.S. involvement in Vietnam actually weakened the USSR!
