If you truly invited God into your heart, truly repented, and truly love Him then because of your love for Him it will be hard for you to break His will. (Ex. 20:16) If you really love someone you try to please them naturally. Obedience is a natural response to love. And the Bible says that "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Philippians 4:13. So God will actually give you power to obey His commandments, which should encourage us when we have committed a sin and have truly repented. With God on your team, you can be sure of a victory over sin. The same applies to life's problems as well.

A "true Christian" is somebody who has been washed in the regeneration of the Sacrament of Holy Baptism. It is something that only god can do, and nothing of our selves, as Ephesians 2:8-9 clearly teaches.
Do some of these Christians break the Law and the Commandments? Yes. However:
“If we confess our Sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” 1 John 1:9

You BET you can, dear one! Christians make mistakes just like non-believers do and some of our mistakes are doozies! But as soon as we recognize our error and ask for forgiveness from Christ, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Christians aren't perfect, but we're FORGIVEN.
