I can understand if he decarded them, for they were earth clothes.

Why did Jesus rise up into the sky anyway? Was he taking a tour of the Galaxy before going to heaven, or is heaven in the sky?

1 Corinthians 15:50 states
"flesh and blood cannot inherit God’s kingdom"
Therefore, it adds weight to the comment of Peter (re Jesus)
"he being put to death in the flesh, but being made alive in the spirit." (3:18)
For his last 40 days on earth, Jesus was a spirit creature, like angels.
We can assume his clothes disintegrated in space.
