I struggled with this also. I grew up a psychic child and my calling has led me to the world of the paranormal and metaphysical, things that my Christian family and friends told me was sinful. I am not Christian but I do believe in and love God wholely and do not want to do bad against him.
Then I read in the bible, a passage that lifted me and reassured me that all things are in his sight and as long as you use your gifts for God's glory, you are good in his sight:
1Corinthians 12:4-11
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.
Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.
1Corinthians 14:1-3
Pursue love, yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. For one who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God; for no one understands, but in his spirit he speaks mysteries. But one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation.
p.s. it's spelled ouija, the french and german words for "yes"

Using a Ouija board is not speaking with the dead. It's a display of something called the ideomotor effect. There is no evidence or reason to believe that spirits exist.

Sorry to disappoint you, but "good spirits" don't just float around earth. They are separated from us when they die. When you try and contact the dead, and get some responses, they are from demons (bad angels) that are playing around with you, and tricking you. And this, in return, opens a door to them, and allows demonic activity to work in your life. Bad idea.
This act of divination is detestable to God.

Hello,
I am scientifically trained and skeptical at times and I see no tangible proof of the ability to communicate with the spirit world. One thing science does agree with the bible and its teachings is that there is no communication with the dead.
Cheers,
