Did you guys read about the guy who just hit the Mega Millions?He promised the Wicca gods he would still teach Wicca.He is going to invest the money in his mystical voyage.I have also heard about people giving their money to scammers because the scammers promised them something outrageous like their own island or bridge.I have also seen people in their 90's hit for huge amounts of money.How come normal average people in their 20's,30's or 40's do not hit more often?

Because the elderly and the under educated are the biggest buyers of lottery tickets. The lottery preys on the old, and the poorest of society.

Heh, I think it's because only morons take a 1 to 150 million odds.

Old people just do it because they don't have anything else to spend money on.

THat's my guess anyway.
