People lie to push their agendas and grant themselves credibility. The Internet just lends the anonymity so that they might not be exposed for their dishonesty. They just like to inflate their e(lectronic)-egos.

Geniuses make up FAR less than 2% of the population. More like .4%.
I'm not a Genius, but I'm in the top 1%, which is considered "superior", which the end of the day means nothing because I've already had my brilliant account suspended twice by the true geniuses at Yahoo.

I haven't thought about my genius status lately, but it is nice to be in such company. Are there really geniuses on Yahoo Answers? That seems to be in the nature of an oxymoron. Don't they have anything better/useful to do? Hmmm. I guess I don't either.

I've noticed that also. When there are 12 answerers to a question and 11 of them claim an I.Q. in excess of 150. LMAO

I never claim to be a genius because it is painfully obvious I am not.
I do have the mental ability to learn however. I do not disregard actual evidence.

Well, in an anonymous forum like this, who's gonna say "I tested at an IQ of 73 and I have to get my mom to tie my shoes"?
Besides, it's pretty easy to tell who's who from the content of the answers...

I've seen that question asked here too. The average answer is about 140. It can't all be that way. I personally won't answer stuff like that.
