I have met many Muslims and they are the most peaceful people I have ever met. Why are people so against all of them? Let me guess..... the mass media? I am not a Muslim but it saddens me that my mother and brother are against them as a people. They are my brothers and sisters and I want to unite with them as a people.

Thank you for using your time usefully and showing the worlds that unity is something we should all stand for. I really appreciate it. I have a lot of non-Muslim friends and they don't understand why people treat me the way they do either.

I have had people attack me openly in front of people, just because I wear the head covering.. hijab.

Hatred is an evil, and hatred needs justification. It has mob mentality.. so when people see others point fingers and hate a certain group, they feel it's OK for them to feel the same way since a lot of people do.

It's more like peer pressure. I think the radicalism that has become to mainstream in media has a lot to do with it. Rarely does the news show a comparison between the billions of Peaceful Muslim, and the ignorant corrupt ones.

A lot of the times people are too lazy to educate themselves about something they don't understand. Not knowing always brings fear, and familiarity makes the distance a bit less distant.

Peace & Love

~~~~~> as you can tell by the thumbs down, there are a lot of haters on here.
Their wahabbi brothers do give the mass media lots of material, but hatred isn't the answer and is of course very evil in nature. And you're right, I was in Cairo for 3 weeks and met the nicest, most friendly people I've ever met outside of Brazil and maybe thailand.
essentially.....
The ones you have met are AMERICAN. as in they accept the 1st ammendmeant and equallity for all BEFORE their religeon.
Religeon is dessert, it makes you feel good. Your rights are the bread and butter, the steak. Religeon can be wrong. It can be fake and untrue. all of it could. What is here, in the real world, is exactlly that. Its here, in the real world.
So the muslims you meet here in the states or in canada or europe have generally accpeted tolerance for others (if not acceptance. I have friends who are muslim, and i have met muslims that are good people)
but the mid east.....
In short is a festering pit of hatered, jealousy, slavery and domination. If you dont obey you are killed. They want that for the entire world. They believe they are racially superior. They would rape and murder your mother for being an infidel. They would beat you for not being muslim. That computer you are typing on, theyd smash it in when they achive dominance. freedom to speak. Good bye.
Im a big humanitarian. Im very much for peace. but they are animals, and we should glass that **** hole.
My only critiques for mass media and President bushes "war on terror"
are as follows.
The media is more supportive of 'your' views then of mine. but no amount of spin can change the fact they are murdering people in the streets.
and to president bush.
Lets do more then a war on terror that cant be achived becuse you cant kill an idea. Lets have a real war, and lets wage it on the threat of the middle east to the civilized world. They kill civilians, and they threaten our writters who critisize them. Lets really fight them with real millitary power.
About a year ago, my sister said some very disrespectable things about Muslims. Her words were so hateful. I asked her how much she knew about Muslims. She said "Only that they dress different." Hate is the most ignorant form of evil I have ever witnessed.
btw- I love everyone. I'm a people person.
Yes, hatred breeds evil which is a code Christians are not supposed to indulge in, but they do.
You're absolutely right, Muslims, for the most part, are very peaceful. What the media, and other ignorant people, focus on are the Jihadists, who call for holy war. Every religion has a part that is more evil be it your radical Christians and such. People of all religions are peaceful, usually, but that is more of a reflection of their personalities than anything.
When somebody states they are a Muslim, they are stating their belief and support of it's teachings.
Islam DEMANDS its followers engage in global genocide. Thus, when somebody identifies themselves as a Muslim, they are expressing their support and desire for genocide. In fact they are essentially saying they want to kill you and your family if you won't convert or be enslaved.
If a Jew, or anybody else for that matter, expresses their hatred of Nazis you wouldn't consider that "evil in nature" would you? In fact you'd probably even agree with them. Islam is the same.. although on a FAR larger scale.
Anyone who walks in the spirit and truth of the Messiah does not hate anyone, the only thing we are to hate is sin. There are so many who are walking in deception, we are called to rebuke anything not of GOD in Jesus's name.
We are called to love our Muslim brothers and sisters into the kingdom, into the Way, the Truth and the Life, that the true Jesus is revealed into their lives, His Love His Peace His Mercy. Not by hating, not by killing, not by blowing up ourselves, not by violence. Only by the power of the Holy Spirit and by the sure Word of God. Learn to put on Armor of God and fight the good fight.
Blessed be His Holy name forever.
you're entitled on your comments on Muslims, Arabs and Christians that is your precise. Me in spite of the undeniable fact that as a white Scottish Muslim won't be able to consider blanket statements approximately human beings of any race, faith or nationality. If there replaced right into a set of Arabs in a community the place they actively sought out conflict and purposefully tried to intimidate human beings i could no longer say because of the fact of it ''hatred of mine'' in connection with each arab on the earth by using this group of persons and that's what they are persons. the place we variety is I blame the guy for his or her action no longer each physique whom by affiliation of race, faith or nationality. consistent with possibility because of the fact i'm problem to such stereotypes day in holiday i come across any form steretotype deplorable. it particularly is like me being a Scot asserting ''I hate the English'' if I centred on the undesirable English human beings such because of the fact the individuals of EDL and the British nationwide celebration i ought to surely concentration on that and all compatible human beings like that and draw no longer something yet that negativity in direction of me. yet i won't blame each English man or woman for the strikes of persons. How have Arabs been taught by their mothers and fathers to combat you? Sorry i do no longer see that in the time of any respect. i replaced into for over 30 years of my existence no longer a Muslim and as a white women human beings replaced into in no way taken care of in any respect yet understand by the Arabs I knew, I in no way felt any choose on their section to opt to combat me. lower back i won't understand how ''i visit in no way hate a muslim for being muslim yet in basic terms for the strikes they take against me'' why is it muslim and not man or woman? easily every person who has taken an action against you be they Jew, Christian, Atheist, Muslim, Hindu and so on is a man or woman that has taken an action against you no longer a ''faith''. then you certainly say ''there are reliable muslims and robust Christan's and evil christians and robust muslims strikes of adult males should not be seen the strikes of religion'' so why point out their faith? purely my opinion...
