Hands up all those who feel motivated at work....... No? Thought not.

You need to remember that work is a means to an end. Very few people have jobs they truly love. Please remember that your real life starts when you leave the office and go home. Try to keep the two separate and you'll be fine.

Is logistics what you want to do?

I once worked in the cost accounting department and absolutely HATED the job. I liked the people, I hated the job to the point of constant headaches. I managed to work there for 6 months and had to get out. After leaving the job I realized what the problems was. Cost accounting is all numbers. I read constantly. I am a word person not a numbers person. That's the reason I always hated bookkeeping, no words.

If you have the option, look for a job that better suits you. Nothing is more exhausting than doing something you don't want to do.

I'm not familiar with the field, but suggest that you both make a life-plan to go elsewhere, together. Goal planning books can be helpful. See some below.
