Maybe in the settings of the game some sound effects or music are set too high....i adjusted the sound settings for a PS3 game so that the music was loud, but when i did that i couldnt hear any of the characters speak. I hope that helped you.

The disc may be warped a little causing it to vibrate when spinning at high speeds in the player.

the player could be hitting it maybe because you hit it and it is scratching the disc

or ive also known that the PS2 games run loud themselves too
