The answer depends on your religion and belief set. I don't recall the bible saying much on the topic even though that book can be used (and/or misused) to prove or say nearly anything.
Mainly it is fundamentalist leaders who seem to feel the need to put limits on their followers on such topics. The first thing any fundamentalist of evangelical group seems to do is limit anything the least bit related to pleasure.

The Sabbath has nothing to do with sex. If you are married, you are free to have sex any time you want. If you are not married, then you are not.
