From hearing an interview with his wife on what they believe I say yes. She talked about how different animals and plants work together as a team.
Bini asked how can we know the bible is true. And She said to her daughter Bindi let ask 4 people what happened at the zoo, they will all have stightly different story but they all still happened.
Only God is the judge of what if he was or wasn't. We only see through human eyes. God see and understand everything and our heart motives.

In Australia, a person's religion is a matter for him/herself and his/her god. It is of no concern to anyone else. Most Australians treat those with loud religious convictions with the deepest suspicion. If you are worried about being "saved", worry about your own salvation and leave others to get on with theirs in their own way.

being "saved" does not depend on your religion and btw I am Christian. God is God of all men not of a few chosen. That's the message Jesus came to teach.

Steve Irwin was a Buddhist from what I understand.
So, he was not saved.
I differ from the first answer. Jesus said "I am the way, the truth & the life. No man will see the Father except through Me". Also in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world he gave His only begotten Son, for whosoever believes in Him shall have everlasting life".
That's pretty plain english.. the only way to the Father is to believe in Jesus.
If you were God, would you mind if people just followed whatever "religion" that came along? I would.
People don't want to hear the truth unfortunately.

NO ONE can tell you that. Whether he was a Christian or not is irrelevant. God and God alone can make that decision.
