I'm looking for a curtain rod that is maybe designed to go all the way around the octagon shape. Any suggestions on what to do with bay windows? I have faux wood blinds already but I'm thinking of putting a roman shade over them for even more blackout and to add some color. Not sure if I want long curtains as my young ones will hang on them.

I have a large seating bay with windows in my living room. I presently use three separate matching blinds one in each window with no curtains. When I was looking I did find a semi circular curtain designed for bay windows, but didn't like it. There are also swivel curtains that are great for bay windows.

Yes, we have both draw curtains on a bay, and romans. I like the draw better for where we need to block light. The romans are always up a little bit for looks.

Check jcp.com. Don't laugh. Penney's sells more window treatments than anyone else in the US, and they have lots of hardware.

I believe that you mount as many curtain rods as you have windows with a bay window. Have fun with it, and good luck!

I'm sure the big home stores could help you: Home Depot, Lowes, etc.
