If i burn a film from my pc by drag and drop - and get AVI clips on disc - whta DVD player will play them......

mine plays divx i convert all videos to divx with their converter then they fit on a cd not a dvd

you get 15 free days with the converter then its about 15 quid best money iv spent in a long while

dvd player that supports divx, they are quite cheap, i've bought 2 over the past year coz they are fab. the latest 1 i bought allows you to plug a usb pen or mp3 player in and watch clips straight from them as well as dvd-rw's so you dont end up with loads of odd dvds all over the palce, theyre great for watchin photos shows on

in the UK i recently bought a DVD player from Lidl's for under £30 and it plays almost anything, if you shop around a little you will find one. it may be easier to find cheap or free software that you can download that will convert the movies to the format you want. take care and good luck.

There are many dvd players that will play AVIs. (MP4 I'm not so sure about.) Most of the players are labeled "DivX".
