I am prone to having many bad dreams. I have a nightmare at least once every week, and sometimes every day of the week. I have had what I call "nighmare cycles" where at the start of the week I will have a bad dream, and then each dream will become more terrifying as the week progresses.
Now I`m 16 years old and I know that I am going through a lot of changes and life and having confusing feelings about who I am and what I want to do. This might be causing the frequent bad dreams.
Even so...how can I deal with them? I don`t know how to interperet my dreams. I dream of random people and objects together in strange places. My dreams are blurry and full of color- there is so much to figure out. I dream of my friends and family, but they are difficult to talk to. I don`t know where to start. How can I understand these dreams and deal with all the bad ones?

Keep a dream log, get some dream dictionaries, learn about the different symbols, and see how they fit in with your life. Even if you can't recall the entire dream, write down the parts that you can remember, and learn to interpret them, if you can find meaning in them, they won't be as scary...
