American forces are having a hard time dealing with a country the size of Texas (Iraq.)

Do you really think we are in the right position to invade Iran?

Because Iran will not hesitate to press the button.
The Iranian president Ahmadinejad wants to usher in the end of the world.

The world is sitting back and watching Ahmadinejad and Iran arm itself the same way we sat back and watched Adolf Hitler arm his military in 1938.

And the president of Iran already said he wants a modern day Holocaust on the jewish race.

No. i don't believe we will be able to handle Iran if we go into it. It will be disaster. My father was in the US military for 20 years and he says the same thing. Iran is not IRAQ.

Iran has the largest number of total troops in the world. Compared to the US, Iran has 12,285,600 total troops, while US has 2,338,213. Also consider that the number of troops for the US is scattered all over the world while the 12 million of Iran ARE in Iran. Not to even think about the number of terrorist groups Iran supports (such as Hezbollah).

Iran's president has said numerous times that if US or any nation attacks Iran, they will attack Israel and Iran is very capable of doing that (especially with the new Shahab missles) as well as block the transport of oil.

Lets not underestimate the military Iran has. There is obvious reasons why bush is hesitating to go to Iran and why the powers in the world are so against it. It will be disaster

Iran is surrounded on 3 of 4 sides...a military planner's wet-dream! (so-to-speak)

We're in Iraq (which he's sticking his nose into) and we're in Afghanistan. The U.S. Navy owns whatever waters they are in. Iran has out-dated, obsolete equipment, their navy consists of small gun-boats, with too few other craft like cruisers, frigates, or destroyers - even those are no more than 'retired' former Soviet ships.

But, we need to hit them BEFORE they have their first nuke...that's within the next 4 years or so by some estimations.

We'd knock that country back into the 7th C. in a matter of days if we unleashed the kind of h*ll they so richly deserve.

As it was with Nazi Germany: It's going to either be them, or us. There is no middle ground. History can not be allowed to repeat itself, because we won't be as lucky as the last time if we sit idly by, and wait.

Toppling Iran's Islamofacsist regime could help us win the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as a results of fact Iran is offering our enemies in the two a form of international places. because Iran is placed between Iraq and Afghanistan, the logistics could be no concern and we could consolidate our forces extra beneficial in the area if we did no longer ought to concern approximately violating Iran's air area and territorial waters. because Iran is offering munitions to our enemies, they are already at conflict with us, yet we've yet to combat back. As for financial upheaval, Iran is at present an financial basket case, and if their government became into replaced to a extra rational style, their financial equipment could quickly be extra beneficial than that is now, and this could reason a superb ripple through international markets. the only people who do no longer pick Iran's government to get replaced are the islamofascist enemies of civilization Iran is now sponsoring and a few enemies of usa of america who take excitement in seeing the u . s . afraid to attack an enemy this is killing our infantrymen. Such human beings already hate us, so their critiques should not be respected in our decision making technique. we don't need them. Does usa of america have the tummy? sure, yet many of the media will tell the international we don't, and the media's anti-usa of america propaganda gets extra of our infantrymen killed than if the media became into on the yank area.

If allowed to fight a war the way a war is supposed to be fought, we would CLEAN HOUSE! POLITICS are what has ruined the past few wars....ie Vietnam and Iraq.
Things that Harry Reid, Pelosi, Obama, Warner, and the others have been saying add power to every suicide bomber, or IED explosion.
Militarily, if allowed to WHAT IS NECESSARY we would have Iraq pacified and would be a no problem situation with Iran. Weakness percieved is weakness achieved.......STRENGTH PERCIEVED is STRENGTH ACHIEVED....We have the MILTARY STRENGTH but WEAK politicians and people here on the home front.
WE ARE IN and HAVE BEEN in WWIII since 1979, people, wake up.....

Iran's military would last about 3-7 days in the face of an allout Air Assault.
Unfortunately for Iran's people their President is a complete nut.

The US had no trouble dealing with the Iraqi military, and will have little trouble dealing with the Iranian one. The US military is built for force on force conflict, and nobody does it better.

If the US invades Iran, that's where the problems would begin.

I know what you mean. I got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach when Iran said they would take over "where the Americans leave off" if we would withdraw our troops. I do not trust them! (CNN last week).
This was written in 2004, but sums up Iran's fears;
"Iran's and America's post-war visions differ widely....Washington hopes to transfer Iraq into a bridgehead for democracy in the region, while Iran dreads the spread of liberal ideas among its disaffected youth, particularly if they emanate from a US-backed Iraq." -David Menashri

I don't think the U.S. needs to attack Iran we have had no problems with them.....If Iran wants a modern day Holocaust on the Jewish Race we just may have to attack Iran.....If the Iranian President wants to usher in the end of the world I am ready to go and meet my maker......However power hungry people like him seem to fail just when they think they are going to succeed....
