i dont have a way to get back to ny and go to court right now but i need a licence in fl.some people told me its not a problem but im not sure

No, you can't. And if you try, FL will find out about your license suspension. State hopping doesn't fool the system.

They will ask you if you have ever had a license in another State. If you lie to them, you probably won't get one there. Computer age has pretty much linked license info to each State.

In the age of computers, if you are suspended in one state you are suspended in all states.

The people that told you it's no problem are right, assuming you don't plan to drive.

no you cant. once you had it cancelled in one state it is linked to other states nowdays and you are screwed until you go back to the originating state of the cancellation and face the music!!
