He came before, just as he said, in a way no one expected...
and when he comes again
He will come, just as he said, in a way no one expected..
We are closer to that moment than we were yesterday..

Quite possibly. But if you read your Bible you learn that the 'Yellow' race will dominate and rule the world for a long period of time.
That has technically not happened. Not yet at least.
We must take that as being literal. That would mean the Asian or Far East nations would take over being the police of the world, currently handled by the Western nation block.
This would then start their reign.
I'm not sure of Gengis Khan or other ancient ones totally qualify as they did not dominate the world.
I'm also not sure if PErsians or Semites qualify as they are not technically a 'yellow' race but a tan race.
So, you must either get Historians to agree this has already happened or we must wait for this event to come.
That would be close to the pinnacle of the great war between Good and Evil.
For the End of Times to truly be upon us there would be no world-wide prosperity. Few, if any places, would be safe from the plauges, pestilance, black skies.
So long as there are happy times, TV shows, radio music we are not in End of Times for all that will vanish and we'll go back to the Dark Ages, basically.
You can't say the Dark Ages were it, because there is no foundation in the Bible for the Rennesaunce.
There is no talk of man rebuilding the world.
There is only talk of man and naturing putting a final end to it.

The only people I know who spell Jesus's name the way you do in your image are Jews for Jesus. I personally like Jews for Jesus though I believe they are just another sect of Christianity and have little to do with Judaism. The increase in wars? umm.... how many wars are you fighting today? weren't there more simultanious wars being fought a few centuries ago? (e.g. the roman empire, the dark ages etc...)
I think you are refering the severity of the wars being fought which I have to agree, WWI and WWII were the most devastating wars the world has ever known.
Rumors of war? (Not true, there were more rumors during the cold war)
worldwide hunger, diseases, viruses an natural disasters???
ok... I don't believe the last one, an increase in natural disasters? The only reason people think that is because we have much more widespread and instantaneous media coverage today. If you had the same amount of hurricanes and only 100 million people on the planet as opposed to 6 billion people, wouldn't it be less likely for those hurricanes to hit the human populations???
As for the viruses and diseases, well... you have a LOT more people around than you used to. If you have an increase in population you will also have an increase in diseases! I personally believe that it is nature's way of trying to balance the human population which is spreading on this planet at an insane pace. That's my personal opinion, but whatever the cause I think that it's not quite a sign for the coming of the messiah.
Can I ask you a question? Why does there have to be a messiah? When the Jews were clamoring to build their temple Samuel scorned them for needing such a physical representation for G-D. If you really believe in G-D why do you need him to be clad in a physical form. You are presenting the wrong things as signs of G-D's presence on Earth. All you have to say is look at the Internet, Automobiles, Airplanes, Televisions.... I mean... It's been about 100 years! The human race has stayed virtually technologically dormant for thousands of years and in a mere century look what's been accomplished! If that's not a miracle I don't know what is.
I don't think the human race needs G-D to come down in physical form to lead us. We are shaped in the image of G-D, and if you haven't noticed the human race is slowly being concentrated into a single entity. The internet, telephones and televisions are giving us the ability to unite our ideas and actions behind unified goals. You are writing your questions on a computer right? The computer itself is a collection of plastic and metal, doesn't the fact humans have learned how to make it do such miraculous things doesn't reveal anything to you? Doesn't it reveal to you that the human race is closer to divinity than anyone back in the middle ages could possibly picture? Why cling to ideas taken from 2000 years ago? I believe that we are shaped in the image of G-D and therefore I need no so-called 'avatar' to lead us. We are each divine in our own right.

It nds on the way you view religion or indeed teachings from the bible. There are thos who believe the bible is being read to the word and not explored enough to find the true message. Some will say that adam and eve were not human. God made man in his own image. Some say this refers to the soul and the fig leaves that Adam and Eve wore was the fleshy substance we now find our spiritual energy encased in. Certainly there is evidence to suggest (Gnostic gospels for example) that god is not only male and female but is also trtuth and wisdom, thought and reason among many other things. Some may say the second coming of jesus (god) will be the begining of the end. Some say that he never left us, we just choose not to see god in and around us in everything.

You know the funny thing is- if you talk to the Muslims they claim that the prophecies in their book are being fulfilled as well. The Jews can claim something similar- so essentially, either all religions are correct or none of them are. And the increase in wars, hunger and natural disasters is something that could naturally be associated with the end of the world- It's supposed to be a time when everything is going to hell right, getting ready to end- any idiot could have prophesied that.

Last days(plural) = 1 - 2000 AD
End of days(plural) = no more millennial days
Beyond 2000 AD = the last day(singular) = the third "day"
The only question now is which day(singular) forever for all:
- the day of the LORD(LAW)... lights out for the law law ppl
- the day of God(Grace)...let there be light & there was light
Hint: Amos 5:18
The day of the LORD is darkness and not light.
Hmmm, darkness and not light, sounds rather graved.
Hint: 1John 1:5
That God is light, and in him there is no darkness at all.
Hmmm, light and not darkness, kinda sounds like saved.
So we have a last day shewdown, of darkness vs light.
Which (law vs grace) things are an allegory & mystery.
PST: the end is already Pauline written in every epistle:
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ WITH YOU ALL. AMEN.

Strange, many believe that John the baptist was the messiah and there were/are other contenders to that title, but it's relatively easy to fulfill known prophecy espcially when the writers are writing anywhere from 70 to 100 years after the events.

In my opinion, life, like civilization is on the way down, the day of it's inception. The end of days begins the day you were born, not because of some bogus prophecy somebody made thousands of years ago. The only thing that is 100% true of life, is that you will not get out of it alive. But, again, this is just my opinion.

It is indeed near, may not be in human terms. I believe sin on this earth has been allowed 6000 years. When exactly those years will come to an end we do not know.
But if you don't believe "But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only." (Matt. 24:36), you might as well not believe in His coming.

"In 2007 we are in the around the 2000 years of Christianity."
Sure, keep telling yourself that. I bet you were one of those y2k nuts.
"The increase of wars, rumors of war, worldwide hunger, diseases, viruses and natural disasters are all a sheer coincidence?"
Actually, there have always been wars and famine etc. just not Fox News. You should get some perspective; for 95% of the world population things are better than ever before in history.

Very nice theory - the only problem is that your crucial fact is wrong.
Isaiah would have been writing around 698BC which is certainly NOT 2000 years before the birth of Christ.
Sorry - your theory immediately collapses.
PS. Why is it that people don't do even the most cursory of research before they put all this sort of stuff on here ?
**EDIT**
Great ! A thumbs down already. You people really don't like criticism do you? - even when it is supported by fact.
