She was a truely remarkable woman, I hope she is at peace now. My greatest sympathy to her friends and family and all those lucky enough to know her.
ps. to the person above: no she wasn't the only person to die of cancer, many people I know have as well, however she was one of the best fundraisers I've ever heard about.
pps. to the person below, 'what has she done different from other cancer sufferers?'..... well she's raised about one and three quarter million pounds for charity after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer does that count?

She was an inspiration to not just cancer sufferers but anyone facing adversity, showing what can be achieved...It does not surprise me that you get ignorant comments from some Americans...on her last ride across the whole of America she did not achieve the money she had hoped for as the American media were not interested. America will spend hours talking about Paris Hilton, and some Senator caught in the mens room, but will not pay attention to a brave British woman fighting all the odds....RIP Jane and your legacy lives on.

this answer is regarding janes life,its not about all the other unfortunates to pass because of cancer.It is bad enough this disease is what it is,lets remember today the wife and mother and great hero she was to others in her short time on this earth.

i really dont know who she is?
i know thats bad and im sorry she died but i really dont know who she is? was she famous? what has she done different from other cancer sufferers?
