You are either expectant and happy

Somewhat afraid

Could care less about the subject.

If you are happy you are a believer ready to meet your King.
If you are somewhat afraid you are worried about your standing with Christ

If you could really care less you are an unbeliever who will be in complete shock if it happens

Agree or disagree?

THINKER---Read Ephesians 2:8-9

"You are saved by grace (undeserved favor) and not by works--lest any should boast.." That is the good news.

When I was atheist, the idea boggled my mind, and frankly I thought anyone who claimed this was dangerously insane.
Then for the first few years of my Christian life, I thought, it was great, but I hoped He would wait until I enjoyed more of the world.
Now that I've learned the world really has nothing but grief to offer anyone, I find myself patiently waiting for Jesus return.
I would like to make one point while we're one this subject.
Regardless if Jesus returns today, tomorrow, or not until another 100 years, someday each of us will die, and at that moment, the world has ended for you.

Then we are in undesirable shape in case you're precise. There must be understand extra dying in accordance to Revelations 20:15, Rev 21:4 and much less tears or crying etc yet we've loads of those. while he returns that is in a similar way the disciples seen him ascend. Matt 24:30, Acts a million:11.

The only thing I'm concerned about is that some religious nut will start a nuclear war because he thinks he's doing "god's work." If there actually were a god, one would think it wouldn't need the help of puny humans to do anything. So much for all-powerful.

Jesus can't come back. He was never here. He's a fictional character.

Did a historical Jesus exist?
http://www.nobeliefs.com/exist.htm

ALL CLAIMS OF JESUS DERIVE FROM HEARSAY ACCOUNTS

No one has the slightest physical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written manuscripts. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus. Devastating to historians, there occurs not a single contemporary writing that mentions Jesus. All documents about Jesus got written well after the life of the alleged Jesus from either: unknown authors, people who had never met an earthly Jesus, or from fraudulent, mythical or allegorical writings. Although one can argue that many of these writings come from fraud or interpolations, I will use the information and dates to show that even if these sources did not come from interpolations, they could still not serve as reliable evidence for a historical Jesus, simply because all sources derive from hearsay accounts.

Hearsay means information derived from other people rather than on a witness' own knowledge.

Courts of law do not generally allow hearsay as testimony, and nor does honest modern scholarship. Hearsay provides no proof or good evidence, and therefore, we should dismiss it.

i canna wait.

when God sends His Son it will be just as John said it would be in the Revelation.

Jesus will come to eliminate all opposers of The Kingdom, and to preserve alive the righteous meek ones who will then possess the earth and make it into a paradise under the Messianic Rule from heaven.

whether i make it or no, i will be GLAD to see this wicked old worthless world go down in flames. it will be quite disturbing to see all of the death and destruction of human life, but to the ones who God declares righteous He says not to look at them or be troubled by their deaths. Of course, they will NOT be partaking in destroying the wicked... only Jesus and his 144,000 bought from the earth, and his former angelic brethren - now his subjects - will be the ones who will be doing the extermination of the wicked ones.

-grins- Has anybody here read "Good Omens"? Awesomely hilarious book about the apocalypse! XD

I recommend it to all Christians (who can poke fun at themselves a little and not get offended) and atheists out there. Really, how it ends up, it's really good. Plus it's damn hilarious! -falls over giggling-

"You are either expectant and happy"
Then you are not very sane - the end of the world as we know it would not be a good thing. Not even a little. Stop voting for idiots who think the little voice in their head is God's and giving them power to blow us to pieces.

I'm expecting and happy, that is the end of all of these sufferings and finally we will go where we should be - with God in His presence forever.

1 Corinthians 10:12......Consequently let him that thinks he is standing beware that he does not fall

We need to pray for God's undeserving kindness and live our lives according.
