No seriously, I'm wondering.... It does have the huge good part and stuff. does the top of a muffin have more calories than the bottom? Thanks for answers.

Actually my guess would be they (muffies) have less calories than a regular muffin of the same variety because it's less actual food than a muffin. From a baking standpoint the only difference is the pan (there's a specialized pan for muffies) but there's no difference in the batter based since the cup size of the special pan has the same surface area of a normal muffin pans cups. As to your question, obviously there's no difference in calories between the top of a whole muffin and the bottom of it.

No, I think it's the same unless the top is alot larger than the bottom. The more muffin you eat the more calories you will get.

Lol - no i'm pretty sure it's the same regardless if you eat the top or the bottom.
Your question reminded me of the seinfeld episode when Elaine got into the business of the 'muffin tops'.
They had to call in the cleaner ... Newman! hehehe
