I had to laugh when I read the answer of the person who said that "The church is a group of perfect people". Boy that's a contradiction if ever I heard one. When the main purpose of any Organization (including a religious one) is to perpetuate a series of beliefs that can never be backed by any kind of proof, I'd say that makes it automatically hypocritical. I don't know if you are talking about any particular "Church". I think most people when they say "The Church" mean the whole general machinery of "God-belief" (Theism). A whooooole lot of people involved in this particular aspect of human life are in it as a business. Without a doubt, just like any other business Religion is a big money-spinner. Millions of people make a pretty darn good living out of "Religion" one way or another, yet at the very same time rejection of "worldly goods" is being touted as a virtue.
All over this, and other Western countries, small local church groups operate as individual units of their parent denomination, and for the most part they do a lot of good, providing emotional comfort to their members, and being a bonding force in their community. But it is when we get to the top of the Religious totem pole - the leaders, the organizers, the church heirarchy, the "movers and shakers" that we begin to see corruption, phonyness, hypocrasy, and sometimes even downright criminality.

Although there is hypocrisy in the church ( people ) the church does not condone Hypocrisy. People are weak and do thing we aren't supposed to do. That doesn't mean we accept them.
There are things that happen in the secular world that are wrong, but accepted as part of life. Do you think we should classify everyone as doing these things ?

Because the Church is a group of perfect people. The Church was established to perfect the saints not for perfect saints. Of course there are going to be some who do not live up to the standards that Christ teaches. If everyone lived up to those standards immediately there would be no need for mercy or love.

Yes, you're certainly right there...it's not the issue in the church only though; people tend to be insincere to each other, sometimes even without proper reason...It seems to be some kind of a built - in fear, that we're at a loss when being sincere.
This is purely ethic issue; if one decides to be honest and strait, than that's it...everyone possesses power to be strait, fear is our greatest enemy !

I'm not sure which "church" you are referring to .. but it seems to me that most are based on hypocrisy, therefore, it must be accepted. Now don't think I'm bashing anyone's spiritual beliefs, I'm speaking of organized "churches" .... two different animals!

between the main important i've got considered at the instant is to declare that Homosexuality is a Sin... yet a marginally super factor of Christians are divorced and remarried, in accordance to Jesus, it is adultery that's listed interior the vast 10, yet Homosexuality isn't listed there. i comprehend everyone "sin" in accordance to the Christian faith (honestly, the old try claims that even a Righteous guy sins 7 x's an afternoon - and that's a Righteous guy).... yet to think of that because of the fact one has the label of Christian which ability they have the main suitable to tell all human beings else the place they're incorrect is very stupid. declaring volatile issues is one element... yet to think of that because of the fact one is a Christian straight away supplies that guy or woman the authority to declare who will or won't circulate to Hell, or to apply that hazard to objective to cajole others to the religion itself is hypocritical. It is going against the classes of the guy they declare to persist with - Christ. i don't assume human beings to be suited. I do, besides the undeniable fact that, assume them to stay as much as the flaws they conflict to tell others to stay via. in case you won't manage to stay as much as the criteria you place on human beings, notwithstanding in case you get it from the Bible or everywhere else, then you certainly have not have been given any suited to tell others a thank you to stay.

What church you are talking about. There are a lot of denominations not accepting each other. Don't follow the majority for evil.

A church is a house of prayer, i think your question should be directed at individuals who practice hypocrisy.

Accepted? Heck... it's one of the main pillars of the church... along with gullibility, irrationality, willful ignorance, self-delusion, intellectual dishonesty and drooling stupidity.
