The unique insight of Christianity is God's ridiculous willingness to forgive even the most heinous sins and bestow eternal life to anyone who asks him with a sincere heart. Even a son who throws away the family fortune on carousing with fickle friends and prostitutes, once he repents, will be welcomed back to God's family, to resume his role as an heir of heaven.

Cheers,

"Religion" really means the rites and ceremonies, the "how" of the worship.
I don't do a lot of that. I have a living relationship with the Living God through His Son Jesus Christ. And I know that "hows" aren't as important as "what": how I live my life, treat others, and glorify God.
The format of the service is niether one way or the other.
Is this unique? I don't think so, but maybe it is.

Well, it's not original because Jesus Christ was the one who set it up when He was here on the earth, and that's a living Prophet who leads the Church today. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only Church on the earth that has a living Prophet who receives revelation from God and gives us the up to date "news" so to speak that is relevant for us in these last days. He, Gordon B.Hinckley, is not only the Prophet for the Church and it's members, he is the Prophet for the world at this time. Pity the rest of the world don't realise it.

I am.

I am unique and special, but only because my spirituality is my religion, not the other way around. I am unique, because no other person may be following my exact path to the divine. I experience the world around me, listening to its breath, learning its rhythm, sharing its love.

In Christianity, my God let his Son come down to Earth to die in my place for my sins. Since I accepted his sacrifice, and believe in him as my Lord and Savior I will go to be with him at the end of my life and/or the end of this world.
No other religion has God doing this for them.

I am a Christian and what is unique about the whole foundation of this is God WILLING GAVE HIS ONLY SON to DIE for us so we could live eternally. I do not know of one other "diety" that has done anything close to that.

I don't have a religion. I don't need another person's version of God.

I believe in the Golden Rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Beyond that tenet everything is superfluous.

The Most Concise Definition of God:
The most concise definition of God in Islam is given in the four verses of Surah Ikhlas which is Chapter 112 of the Qur’an:

"Say: He is Allah,
The One and Only.
"Allah, the Eternal, Absolute.
"He begets not, nor is He begotten.
And there is none like unto Him."
[Al-Qur’an 112:1-4]
The word ‘Assamad’ is difficult to translate. It means ‘absolute existence’, which can be attributed only to Allah (swt), all other existence being temporal or conditional. It also means that Allah (swt) is not dependant on any person or thing, but all persons and things are dependant on Him.

Surah Ikhlas - the touchstone of theology:

Surah Ikhlas (Chapter 112) of the Glorious Qur’an, is the touchstone of theology. ‘Theo’ in Greek means God and ‘logy’ means study. Thus Theology means study of God and to Muslims this four line definition of Almighty God serves as the touchstone of the study of God. Any candidate to divinity must be subjected to this ‘acid test’. Since the attributes of Allah given in this chapter are unique, false gods and pretenders to divinity can be easily dismissed using these verses.

Quran is Unique and Special....read it with understanding you will find it a Miracle.

GOD IS ONE AND THE SAME
