Check your BMI. I think it's just a little overweight, but nothing to worry about.

Why don't you try working out your Body Mass Index?

Doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals use this to calculate whether a person is overweight or clinically obese.

You can do this online on a number of websites. Try the BBC's calculator - it is really easy, all you need to do is select your height and weight: http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/healthy_living/your_weight/bmiimperial_index.shtml

However, bear in mind that the Body Mass Index takes into account your TOTAL weight it doesn't distinguish between fat and muscle.

Try low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein, and exercise. The foods are low caloried, and yet filling and healthy. Brisk walking is great for burning body fats.

It is my lifestyle now. I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs/14kg and gained better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs/49kg for more than a year, with more fruits and complex carbs.

Details such as my experience, meals, snacks, recipes, foods to buy, reading labels, walking as an exercise and to shape the body etc etc, are in my blog

Don't worry about it. I'm 10 stone and i'm an inch shorter than you, but i'm only 16. Have you had children? if you have then thats probably where that extra flab is from.

you do sound overweight even very muscular men would struggle to get to that weight at that height, exercise is the best idea because it releases endorphins which will reduce your comfort eating (your big problem)

im 2 inches shorter than you and im classed as FAT.
but i dont think i am i think i am just above my weight.

it also depends on how your weight is distrabuted. if its all in the middle then you could say your fat but if its ditrabuted evenly over your boobs, bum and thighs then you may not look fat at all but in proportion.
