The difference you can see, when any person raise question against 1040's hollocost, that person comes in problems and face extreme reactions from high ups of today's so called liberal and modern broad vision politicians and officials.
On the other hand, The Most Respected Personality of second largest Religion on earth, becomes target of third grade media abuse and no one raise any voice. Instead condemn Muslims for any reaction.

My friend (if you alow me to call you that) do you live with your head in the sand? I ask this because you say that the cartoons were drawn by christians, when that person who draw it does not believe in a god at all.
Also I ask my first question because do you see Christians act in the same way when Jesus & God are made fun off? the answer to that is no Christianity has been made fun of in cartoons, films, books since day 1!
Learn to live as Jesus taught (& remember that Jesus in the Muslim Faith is a great prophet) Love other as you love yourself. Judge not or be Judged!
We have to learn to live with each other & work together otherwise if we keep traveling down the road that we are on we will distroy this earth that God put us in.

actually if you had bothered to look into this you may actually may be more disgusted with the muslims that purpetuated the myth and made it seem so much worse than it was, there where 2 cartoons in the newspaper, i know i've seen the actual paper, a friend of mine in denmark where these things are from not sweeden sent it to me now muslims where complaining about 15 cartoons that turned up, so where did the exta 13 come from, well a couple muslim guys in sweeden by the looks of things, they did it it to envoke your rage they made sure it was shown in saudi arabia and indosea they wanted to provoke you. oh and need i remind you about the violent protests that ensued black christians where set alight in some more horrific cases in africa. (near morroco) because of these two imbasials, and the man with the banner that said 'behead those that think islam is violent' he said it wasn't ironic at all. you shouldn't believe everyhing with out investiagation thats my point
why point out it was danish, im sure your not annoyed at denmark the danish government didn't have anything to do with it just some cartoonist working for a grotty newspaper that probarly got wrapped around somebodies chips.
this really isn't about religion
@MB ok, so you don't like the fact we are in iraq, whats to say that the whole of britian is united behind the war, we arn't the most of the population here in no way supports the war, there were mass protests over it from many different sectors here in the uk including myself having been to the first gulf war, which actually had a purpose. i agree this war is wrong, our government were scared about a few false documents they had, yeah but i dont' make any appology for them, thats there job. oh and by the way, the war would probarlly be dealt with if the shi'te's and the sunni's could actually get along
religion of peace

Hi....
It just goes to show how stupid religious people are.
Muslims chanting in the streets, wanting the death of these people who made the cartoon, but also at the same time burning the American flag?
Just blind hatred for 'the other side'.
I thought religious were full of love and respect for fellow man?
OK, the cartoons, did not show respect, but it in 'no' way deserves the death of the artists involved!
So, if anyone who does not believe, the same as a muslim, speaks out or states something bad, against it, they have to watch their step, that they could be murdered for saying or doing it? ....
What would have happened to those artists, if the mobs of angry muslims, had managed to get their hands on them? ...
I will tell you: They would have been torn into peices and/or burned with hatred, their bodies hung in the street, for all to see!!
And you claim Islam is 'the' religion of love and peace??
RELIGION = PREJUDICE !!!

The only problem is that when someone draws something against the Jews, he/she will be prosecuted and accused on racism.
However, no one played the same tone when the Danish drawings happened. Even the government didn't meet with the Muslim group who wanted to discuss these things.
I would say the line should be drawn when affecting or insulting other groups.
Any religion doesn't teach to insult others or make fun of them.

On the reverse, Chrsitianity has been made fun of for many years. Islam is now spreading toughout the world and it will meet the same resistance and mockery that Chrsitianity did during its spread arround the world.
I personally don't like to think that any religion will be mocked, least of all by other religions (love and tollerance should prevail).
I would not class the newspaper employees as Chrsitians. If they indeed consider themselves Christians perhaps they are missing the point of Chrsits message.

That was a long time ago. Why are they not allowed to print something you don't like but you can have books in libraries that other people may not like. It works both ways, or should work both ways.
I don't see any muslim against christians or christians against muslims. I think you are just someone who likes to stir up trouble.

In some countries humour is seen different.
I am a christian with muslims friends...and we don't even discuss and definitely not argue about our beliefs...because we respect each other.
In our days, the majority of people learn how to live around various religions that don't belong to them.
Unfortunately is a small number of people who give a bad name to christians and muslims....which is sad.
I try to treat everybody as an individual and I listen to others opinions about religion, way of life....etc....because as I have the right to a good life(my way) they do as well.
I hope that answers your question.....
Don't stereotype christians because you will never be different than people stereotyping the muslims (because of the terrorist attacks many ignorant people think they are all the same, which is not true).

I think the use of "freedom of expression' is a cop out. the cartoon where the body of mohammed is a dog is absolutely unneccessary. I am christian. If I ever saw an reconstructed/ disfigured cartoon of any persons of the bible, I would be horrified. There is a whole list of things that should be taboo and re configuring religious figures should be one of them.

It was Denmark... not Sweden. It seems to me that you're whining just for the sake of whining... you really have no clear idea what you're whining about.
All of the Abrahamic death cults of desert monotheism (judaism, christianity, islam) are worthy of nothing more than ridicule, derision and distain... certainly not 'respect'. Their currency is gullibility, irrationality, willful ignorance, self-delusion, intellectual dishonesty, drooling stupidity and hypocrisy.
If your feelings were hurt by the cartoons, then you are entitled to a measured, variable and proportional response... up to and including resort to harsh language. Beyond that... you just confirm and justify the reasons why sane people regard your beliefs as gullibile, irrational, willfully ignorant, self-deluded, intellectually dishonest, droolingly stupid and hypocritical.
"Anyone who describes Islam as an intolerant religion encourages violence." ~ Tasnim Aslam, Pakistan Foreign Ministry spokeswoman
Personally, I think that we missed a golden opportunity when we first witnessed the insane reaction of Moslems to those cartoons. Instead of backing off, every newspaper in the free world should have devoted the front page to insulting cartoons of Mohammed (peace on him) and Allah (peace on him, too) for a whole month. Chances are, all of Islam would have self self-destructed in a paroxysm of snits and hissy-fits... and the world would be a much better place, as a result.
