I NEVER remember my dreams, but the other night I remembered some small details of one. Ok.. just a little background first - I am friends with this one guy who I am crushing on... hugely. In the dream he had a camera and took a photo of the two of us together. In the dream he had long hair.. I just remember telling him to get his hair out of his face. He doesn't have long hair in reality. It turned out to be a nice photo. Then I remember walking with him down this path. It then skipped to me walking behind this other guy on the beach This guy.. I had abit of an argument with him at school the other day. I like him a few years back, but we hardly ever talk. Anyway in the dream I ran up behind him and hugged him from behind and asked, "How did the photo turn out?" I had the photo with the other guy though! The one I like!? Wierd... It's like I was thinking of the first guy the whole time, but at some points he appeared as the other guy.

Although the chances with the first guy were remote, you overcame the obstacles (his newly longer hair) and the picture-of you and him, together, came out fine.

But, on seeing someone more familiar, you second-guessed yourself, and were willing to accept second best. You doubted your experience, in asking this guy about the picture. You had already seen the photo.

The dream shows that you often doubt your attractiveness, and ability; even when you have something you want in your hand (the guy you like), you see obstacles (his hair) doubt your achievement (the picture) and make sure you get a consolation prize (the other guy).

1
Relax before bed. Take a hot bath with aromatherapy soaps, drink herbal tea, listen to meditation tapes - whatever works best for you.
2
Step Two
Think about and write down important things on your mind. Write down subjects you also would like to dream about.
3
Step Three
Keep those items in mind when you get into bed but don't concentrate too hard. That might keep you awake.
4
Step Four
Tell yourself that you will remember your dream. Repeat "I will remember my dream" several times to yourself as you drift off to sleep.
5
Step Five
Wake up naturally, if possible, without an alarm clock. Try not to move until you can recall your dream from the night before.
6
Step Six
Record your dream before you get out of bed. Keep a journal and pen or tape recorder by your bedside for easy access.

* If you awaken in the middle of the night, write down your dream. You won't remember it by morning.
* Avoid alcohol before you go to bed. It reduces your REM sleep time, the phase of sleep when you dream.
* Get adequate sleep. You sleep very deeply when you're overtired; that makes remembering dreams less likely.
* Take vitamin B-6 (50-200mg) about a half hour before you go to sleep. Your dreams will become more vivid, colorful and lucid. Also melatonin can produce more intense and meaningful dreams.

We dream all nighttime, each nighttime. We oftentimes undergo in strategies the final dream we've been having as we are popping out of our deep sleep. perhaps you do not come around gently, yet circulate from deep sleep to conscious very unexpectedly. try this:- set a radio alarm clock to circulate off very quietly next to you. make helpful that it is not set to startle you yet wake you slowly and gently. The sound of the radio can each so often be included into your dream and you have some recollection of it.
