A soldier I know in the Army is saying it was erroneously reported in the Army Times in the Summer of 2006 that "Don't ask, Don't tell" was repealed.
Can anyone confirm or deny this, if so which issue? Are there any online links to it?

it wasn’t reported because it never happened they are thinking about removing the reg based on the idea that all people regardless of race or creed have the right to fight for their country but the Army cannot make this decision it has to come down from the civilian authorities in the Department of Defense.

It is still in place.

It really does not matter if it was reported by mistake or not.

You can bet if it got repealed, there would be more than one story in one magazine.
