Does your dog eat anything from the first day of shots?
something really worse.,or maybe poisoning?

It maybe a serious digestive disorder.
Food intolerance, especially to milk, allergies, underactive pancreas function(chronic pancreatitis),roundworms, and emotional upsets can all cause mild diarrhoea.Bacterial and viral infections like salmonella, parvovirus,or hepatitis can cause more explosive, watery diarrhoea, sometimes with blood and accompanying lethargy.

Dogs with diarrhoea should FAST for 24hours and then eat a bland meal such as chicken wih mixing with rice.
Consult a vet if diarrhoea continues for two days.Explosive, bloody,or painful diarrhoea requires immediate veterinary attention.

Hope you will take good care and keep notice of anything change of your dog. It really need alot of attention.

Hope this will be helpful to your dog and u.

There is a number of things that may be wrong, with variable importance:
1. Simple gastrointestinal disorder because of his food
2. worms
3. some disease
4. eating a bone that caused trouble
5. poisoning
I suggest you go to a vet to be sure, perhaps he should take the vitamin K as an antidote to eliminate the possibility of poisoning, and then feed him boiled chicken and rice for a few days. Also deworms him and give him Flagyl for a few days (syrup, 0,5ml in the morning and 0,5 in the evening).
All the above are empirical solutions, and the correct way is to ask your vet what to do, because medicine cannot be done over the internet, and your dog may have something else and these suggestions may be wrong, even harmful for him).

Vomiting and diarrhea are a cause for concern in any pup but can become very dangerous very quickly for a small puppy. Your main concern should be keeping him hydrated. Call your vet immediately. It could just be a reaction from the shots. Your vet will be able to advise you what to do or meet you at his/her clinic.

That sounds bad enough that you might want to call the vet right NOW. If you're in a US timezone somewhere, it'll be after hours & you'll likely get an answering machine that will give you the number for a pet ER place.

Call them, describe the problem. They should be able to tell you if you need to bring your puppy in right away or if you can wait till morning. Although I would say "right away".

p.s. I took my cat in recently and it was cheaper than I thought it would be. So don't avoid it on that count. They also might have specialized equipment your regular vet won't, so you'd get referred there anyway. Good luck!

Hi some of the things to consider are has she had all her shots? Is she current and up to date on parvo? When you took her with you on vacation she could have been exposed to parvo. They can have their first shot for parvo and still contact it. Another thing to think about is did she eat something different while gone? Does her diarrhea smell absolutely terrible? Parvo has a horrid weird smell that is so recognizable. You could give her about 1cc of Pepto-Bismol to coat her tummy and help stop the diarrhea. It is best to take her to the vet if she continues to be sick. I would make sure when she is healthy again that she is wormed too. Good luck!

It can be a lot of things so you should take him to a vet and have him examined. I just want to add another possibility: Sometimes puppy contacted the disease agent but no one knows about it and it is vaccinated. Then vaccination does not work since it is made "after" the virus incubation. It is not a high possibility but it may happen. So you should take him to a vet.

A lot of things could be wrong, some serious, some not. Definately take him back to the vet and have them look him over again. It could be a reaction from the shots. It could be something worse.

I think to be on the safe side just call the vet and ellaborate on the issues your puppy is having. They can tell you if they feel he needs to come back in or not.

This sounds like pancreatitis, you should go to the vet immediately. This happened to my dog and they said if I waited any longer he could have died. Not trying to scare you but it's best to go NOW. Good Luck!
