This is a serious question so please only serious answers, there is a lot of pride and beer at risk here, among other things. My girlfriend and I are both shaven in the pubic hair area, we were out last night with some friends and this subject came up, turns out they are the same, so we had a bet between us on what percentige are like us shaven and what isnt. Also who shaves more men or women?

Mmmmmmm very interesting reading still, it looks more like the women shave than men, a lot trim, both m and f and some are totaly against. A couple more hours and we'll see who wins the bet.

I wouldn't take a razor to my bollocks unless it was life or death. But I'm not a very hairy sort anyway.

I'm a masseur and I get to see most people's privates. Trust me, more people shave down there.I believe shaving is the secret fashion right now for both men and women. Porn could have some influence, say 10 years ago thick bushes are all over. Now they shave or just trim -makes 'em look good and clean. And personally, I shave myself -makes me really feel clean and fresh all over. Shaving and trimming just makes sense. Be careful though especially if you've never done it before.

I think the only way we would know that would be if everyone stripped naked.
Okay. Serious answer. I've never shaved that area unless it was for medical reasons (i.e. surgery.) I've been married twice, and neither of my wives have shaved other than for medical purposes.
Most people are simply going to consider this a very private matter, and I don't know how you would ever get a reliable idea of what percentage are shaven and which are natural.

I always shave or get a wax, it just feels cleaner. had a boyfriend shave for me once as a treat, scared the life out of me! but each to their own... personally i think it's nice when a man trims, shows he's made an effort, but still looks natural. (hypocritical? maybe.)

I do a lot of sport and shared changing rooms and showers with hundreds of men and I have never, ever seen a bloke with a shaved pube area. I am also lucky enough to have experienced my share of girls in the bedroom and the same is true - never, ever experienced a shaved pubic area. Trimmed and neat is the norm in my experience, never shaved. Why would a man do it? shaving serves no sexual purpose (in fact can reduce the pleasure on the clit), looks totally pre-pubescent and stupid and is hell when it grows back!
In answer to your question in my experience I would guess 98% of us are unshaven pube wearers.

Sometimes I shave it off completely, other times I have it very neatly cropped.
I'm not 100% sure I'd like it so much if my Husband was completely bald all the time..occasionally is nice, but I do prefer men with hair!

Let's just say that my hubby and I trim the lawn, but we don't go down to the bare soil.
He doesn't want to be with a woman that looks like she hasn't hit puberty yet. I don't want to feel like I am with a little boy either. We both would feel like child molesters.
I also like to keep a little something there because I can't stand the agony of it growing in.

personally i dont shave any where on my body. I prefer for a man to be hair as well. I think a guy that shaves is pubic hair is to feminine. I also like hair chest.

I honestly think men do,Women like to keep a little hair down there,and men like to keep them selfs trimmed and it makes them feel more confident in getting the ladies..I hope i helped!! Good luck on your bet!!

I shave my bits with hair clippers so it's very short and just shave the sides with a razor.

Trimming, yes but not completely shaved. trimming makes me feel clean down there but shaving......no one likes to look or feel like a de-feathered chicken. i would say women shave more....hopefully.
