Liver!!! Great for fattening them up. Cook it though, they don't like it raw. Also you can suppliment with Nutrical. It's a high calorie suppliment that you can either order online or buy in petstores. I have no idea if anchovies are good for them though....sorry.I hope kitty gets better soon! Best wishes.

You might also want to try baby food. My vet suggests Beechnut but says others are fine. Chicken or lamb are best. Also Science Diet has a food formulated for situations like yours.....

Fresh anchovies, as any other fish, cooked only in water, is fine. Also boiled chicken is good for them. But they are not fattening foods. Try kitten food from the pet store or Hill's a/d. The latter is very appetising and high in calories, and it is good for convalescent animals.

So you are looking for safe ways to fatten her? Perhaps if you feed her kitten food?

Call the vet and ask for their suggestions!

Anchovies probably won't hurt her, but they won't be a balanced diet. So not a long-term thing.

The Nutrical is the best course in my experience. It is an easy to eat paste, and I can't but think that the tumor on her lip makes her uncomfortable when eating. Hope she does well. Good luck!

I don't like to give too much seafood because I worry about mercury levels... It will sound gross but cats love chiken gizzards, hearts, even necks..All the parts you would normally throw away from a whole chicken ( ou need to cook them ) They also like lamb or you could try duck...

Dry kitten food, and regular canned catfood.

Why are you feeding your cat anything besides regualr canned catfood?

Anchovies should be a rarely given treat.

the 1st factor you need to do is take your kitty to the vet. many cases cats pee in conspicous places while they have a bladder an infection. your vet will take a urine pattern & try for crystals. next bypass to an animal furnish save & get a product called natures miracle. it particularly is an enzyme which will eliminate all smell of urine on your cat. If this could be a marking problem that is unusual for a female the heady scent would be long gone. spot try first for colorfastness. Cats often do no longer "purely initiate" peeing inappropriately for no reason. think of roughly what has replaced on your place for the cat. have you ever moved the muddle container, replaced litters, have a sparkling man or woman or puppy contained in the residing house? If it is not a actual subject what's emotionally frightening your cat adequate to reason this habit. what's diverse? in case you have diverse cats has one among them began to %. on her? do they chase her from the litterbox or no longer enable her in? Is the litterbox lined? some cats don;t like that. some cats don;t like reliable colored bins. they like a great sparkling storage bin so as that they have got visiblity for the time of the full time they are contained in the container. Cats experience very susceptible while making use of the container purely as you experience very susceptible while on the bathroom! If all avenues are exhausted & that isn't any longer actual & unquestionably no longer something is diverse you may ought to bypass decrease back & re-prepare. the superb thank you to do it is to maintain the cat in a small area with a litterbox & nutrition for some days...consistent with possibility a great canines crate or consistent with possibility a small bathing room. steadily supply her greater area, graduate from the crate to a bathing room, to a mattress room, to a diverse component to the residing house. . A cat won't soil outdoors the container while contained in the smallest of areas & you need to steadily enhance the area it perceives as its "territory." it ought to look cruel to maintain your cat in a small area & specific, it particularly is inconvenient for somewhat in spite of the undeniable fact that that isn't any longer something while in comparison with dropping your cat altogether...your cat needs to maintain her residing house. i desire this helped. it particularly is an quite, very complicated problem & complicated subject. unquestionably initiate with your vet.
