Has anyone else noticed how many of the magazines like "Women's Day" always seem to have conflicting headlines on their magazines? One headline will read: "Lose 35 pounds By October 1" or "Diet Secrets Revealed- lose those stubborn pounds". Then right next to that headline, a picture of a decadent dessert: "Tripple Chocolate Lard Cake- Make This Cake Tonight- Recipe Inside"

What does this say about American women that this same pattern keeps repeating itself on these magazines month after month- obviously people are buying them! What are your thoughts about that?

I've noticed that. Have you also noticed that they have lots of articles about breast cancer but none on lung cancer, which kills more women, and then they have ads for cigarettes?
