I have no idea. This is why I don't buy it. I'm not that angry and I'm supposedly a sinner.

No, the Christian God doesn't need meds, but Christendom does. The true God of the Bible never had the idea of tormenting his creation. The opposite of life is death, non-existence. Not torture. Notice these scriptures as proof;
Ecclesiastes 9:5,10 This says that "the dead are conscious of nothing at all."This wouldn't say this if it was possible to be tortured.
Jonah 2:2 says Jonah was in hell while in the fish. It wasn't a fiery place, but it would have become his grave.
Genesis 37:35 says Jacob wanted to go to hell because he heard his God-fearing son had died. Why would Jacob want to go to be tormented? No, he didn't want that. He just wanted to die because of his grieving for his beloved son.
There are many more scriptures to help us see that the God of the Bible, (in which Christendom brings reproach upon because of the God dishonoring doctrine of a fiery hell), this true God, is a God of love. (Psalms 83:18 King James Bible and 1st John 4:8)He even sent his only-begotten son to teach us about him and to give his life a ransom for us so that we might get everlasting life.(Matthew 20:28 and John 17:3)
The idea of a fiery place came from pagan religions and philosophies that the Catholic Church adopted into the Christian congregation. A lot of encyclopedias say this. It's not me.
This defiled the congregation and now God says he has an accounting with her because of her mass sin.
(Read Revelation chapter 17 and 18 which speaks of the world empire of false religion as a harlot on top of a wild beast and her name is Babylon the Great.)

Hi fireball224f!! :o)
I hope you're OK. As a person who believes very much in God and Jesus - the biggest [And I do mean BIGGEST] stumbling block for me [Insofar as my faith in God is concerned] has always been the idea of some people [After they die] being tormented and tortured without end in some place called 'Hell'. How could I love a God [I have often asked myself] who would allow such a thing to happen?! How could a 'perfect God' do such a thing?! Then it dawned on me. [After years of prayer!!] John 3:16 [A 'book' and 'verse' in the Bible] tells us that IF someone chooses to believe that Jesus was [And IS] the Son of God - then he/she will spend eternity in Heaven. It also tells us that IF someone chooses NOT to believe then they will PERISH. It does NOT say, "... they will be tormented and tortured forever!!" Death for those who choose not to believe is just that - DEATH. Now I don't know if their death will come instantly - or if there is some awful time they will experience before they are finally wiped out completely. But I do NOT believe that anyone will be tormented and tortured without end. THAT alone would make GOD worse than Satan and I refuse to believe that. I hope that helps. And please always try to remember that just because a person says that they are speaking God's truth - don't assume that they are. Anyone can claim anything. And don't hate God because of what man has said and done. That would be like me hating you because someone who says that they speak for you is a horrible person. See what I mean. Have a great day!! Craig!! :o)

the two. My God grew to become into and continuously is/has been/would be God. He got here to earth in the style of a little one. He grew as a newborn and died as a 33 300 and sixty 5 days previous guy, grew to become into resurrected and continues to be God. i do no longer think Jesus ever threw a temper tantrum. he's the only guy or woman to ever be without sin. as quickly as a newborn reaches the age of accountability, even a temper tantrum is a sin (because it is in disobedience to a command in the Bible). Oh, and specific, He had dad and mom (earthly and Heavenly) besides as earthly siblings. i understand i'm going to get numerous "thumbs down", yet, you asked, I replied. So, there ya flow.

That's the rule God made for us whether you accept it or not you're already in this world and wasting your time cause everything finishes the day you die, God has decreed that Heaven is surrounded with hardship to attend it you need to believe in it and work hard to deserve it if you don't that's your own problem and you don't have the right to ask for it on the judgment day.

Maybe the power and foreknowledge causes an unbearable boredom. Think about it, if you had complete control of everything and nothing could ever surprise you and you could never improve any aspect of yourself, you'd be a little sadistic too. Truthfully, OT Yahweh is my favorite god, because, at least in that sense, he's very realistic.

It isnt a literal burning, imo. Heaven is being in the presence of God, hell in the absence. I believe heaven is continual progression and learning and hell is your progression being stopped. Hell will be knowing you could have had the knowledge of God at your fingertips and living with the fact for all eternity that your own actions stopped you from having it. I also think hell is being face to face with the people you have hurt and knowing the pain you have caused them.
I think we can have heaven and hell on earth right now if we really choose to.

Actually Jehovah Witnesses do not believe that non-believers are sent to hell. As in "God is Love." Meaning love would not burn even ones own worst enemy for eternity in hell. Each Christian religion has it's own interpretation of the Bible.

Because that God, I use the term loosely, is as cruel as any Dictator in history. If he was a caring, loving God. Would he not just resurrect His chosen. But no He in His "Divine" wisdom, believes it is better to first resurrect (give back life), then judge (persecute) and then torment and torture (abuse), before destroying your soul (killing you).
Why not just leave you dead in the first place.

All unbelievers will be burnt in hell eternally because they are stubborn, deaf and blind. They do not want to read or to hear
,to understand and to practise what should be done and what should not be done as stated in the holy book as a life guide given by God in their everyday of life..God has also give happy news and warnings through prophet but they do not want to hear it.So as its consequences they should be punish
ed by burning stones and very hot water. They will get together
with satans as their best friends.Their behavior is like satan who do not want to obey to God's instructions and God's prohibitions.

well to tell you the truth the christian god is not perfect. it is based on a belif of the sun. if you look at the apostle picture it shows each one a zodiac sign, leaving jesus the "son" the christan religion takes about 18 pagan religions in its creation. the true goal is to destroy all knowledge and unify the nations into one central relgion. christanity takes all who oppose it and destroys them just to keep their little lie afloat. this site gives alot of information http://www.exposingchristianity.com/ i hope that helps
