My wee dog has had to have his removed from infection 4 months after implanting and I want to know how many others have had a similar problem.

Had my BC chipped last summer and not had any issues with it.

All three of my Pom's are microchipped through Homeagainid going on 3 years now and we have never had any problems. Sorry about your wee dogs luck ~ hope they get to feeling better....

Three of my dogs have had their chips for more then four years with no problems. My newest puppy will get hers soon.
It is possible that whoever put the chip in was not careful that everything was sterile.

No, my chihuahua hasn't had any problems, he's had his 2 years.
