When giving a gift at a wedding, should you leave the price tags on them just in case they have to take something back? The things I bought her were on her registry, but they gave me a gift receipt just in case. This is my first wedding. What do I do?

You should definitely remove the tags, but put the gift receipt in with the gift. The receipt is coding with all of the pricing information, it just doesn't show up, so keeping the tags on is not necessary.

No, don't leave the price tag on the gift. Just remove it and put the gift receipt in with the gift. If there's a barcode on the price tag, leave that part on the gift and only remove the price from the tag, that way it will be easier to exchange if they need to.

Always remove the price tag. Just use the gift receipt you got with the gift. It's just like Christmas or a birthday really. A gift is treated the same for any occasion. Congratulations!

Remove the part of the tag with the price on it, or the whole tag, and make sure to include the gift receipt. Even though you bought it off the registry, someone else may have bought one also, and she'll really appreciate the gift receipt being included if she needs to take one of them back, or if it turns out to be damaged, or something.

It's proper etiquette to remove all price tags, the idea being to not show how much money you spent. (Even though she picked it out and KNOWS how much it cost already)

Don't leave the price tag! Just give the gift receipt, that's all you need.

If you decide to leave the tag on, remove the portion that contains the price information. It's perfectly acceptable to remove the tag, however (and is actually what I do).

Always, always, ALWAYS include the gift receipt in the box, though, whatever you decide.

Never leave a price tag on any gift. Let them know they're able to make the return if need be. Hold on to the gift receipt.

Take the tags off, but give them the gift receipt.

I would stick the gift receipt inside the package or box. However if it is on her gift registery, I wouldn't bother. Take the price tag off. That is tacky to leave it on even if she does know how much you paid for it.
