I am 28 years old and I every time I go to church I don't see young white catholics anymore. I think the most religious Catholics are hispanics. My friends whose parents are catholics are now mostly agnostic, Atheist, some of them even converted to Islam because they say they feel closer to God ( weird thing is that they are women). Anyways show of hands are there actually practicing white Catholics out there? or is it a dying religion among our race.

Please become a statistical analyst, because you seem to completely overlook the fact that people are individuals.
Hispanics are more devout than whites? Is that always true?
Why can't Islamic women feel closer to God? Maybe they feel that way, mind your own business.
On the other hand, my family is Catholic (and very devout at that). I, personally, am not religious, and my family knows that. I respect their beliefs even though they don't respect mine. I know I am the right one doing the right thing.
If I were religious, I would be Catholic, because I do agree with Catholics on a lot of issues (such as abortion and marriage), and I do respect REAL Catholics' interest in their faith.
All in all, I think Catholicism is a very interesting religion, and I think this question is ridiculous.

It doesn't cater to the younger set, in fact I as a Catholic have felt that some of the practices are outdated. Also, most of us are leading busier lives after all this is a different day and age and don't always have the time. I don't always go to mass, but I still practice my beliefs.

Its not only in catholic churches. It is becoming a rarity to see youth christians participate. It saddens me to see the youth just sitting there in the pews not even thinking about God, Truly this generation is nearly a faithless 1.Why arent people excited about serving the lord anymroe? I think it is becuase of our society now adays. its all about having the best of teh best things, and fitting in with the "cool" people instead of fitting into God's plan and his covering
